A  cake recipe where you can add chocolate chips, almonds or sweets for sweet lovers!


* Ingredients / for 8 people :

° 200 grams of fine sugar
° 4 eggs
° 200 gm butter
° 240 g flour
° 1 sachet of baking powder
° 2 tablespoons of vanilla flavor
Salted Caramel Butter:
° 15 sugar cubes
° 10 cl of water
° 30g salted butter
° 4 tablespoons of sour cream

* Preparation :

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C (thermostat 6) butter and flour a square (or round) mold. Weigh all the ingredients. to melt the butter.

Pour sugar and eggs into a bowl. Whisk blend to it turn white.

Add melted butter, beat for a minute.

Add the flour/baking powder mixture and beat for two minutes.

Pour into a mold and cook for 45 minutes to 1 hour. The cake is cooked when the tip of the knife is dry. Unroll the mold on a wire rack and let it cool before eating it.

Salted Butter Caramel: In a saucepan, put sugar and water over high heat. Wait for the caramel (dark blonde) and then remove it from the heat. Add salted butter. to mix together. Return to low temperature. Add 4 tablespoons of fresh cream. Mix until the cream is smooth. When the caramel ripens, the vanilla cake is covered with it.
