Jerk Steak & Shrimp over Yellow Rice😍

*Ingredients:

°1 lb Angus steak or boneless beef (diced)
°1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
°1 cup red and green bell peppers
°1 c chicken broth
°2 teaspoons jerk seasoning (see below)
°1 teaspoon creole seasoning (see below)
°1 teaspoon salt and cracked black pepper
°1/8 teaspoon of honey
°1 tablespoon of butter
°1 T of oil
°Yellow rice… Use Mahatma!

*Methods :

Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the steak. Cook without disturbing for 3 min. Carefully flip in the pan until browned on all sides, about 7-8 minutes. Remove and reserve.
Season the shrimp with jerk and creole seasonings. Mix well. The color should start to turn red. Add the butter to the pan then add the prawns. Cook 1 minute on each side. Add honey. Cook 1 additional minute. Remove. The shrimp will finish cooking in the last step.
In the same skillet, add the peppers. Cook for 3 minutes or until softened. Stir frequently to avoid burning. Return the steak and shrimp to the skillet. Mix to mix.
Add broth/water and any remaining seasonings. Reduce heat to Med Low and simmer to enhance flavor. Serve over white or yellow rice. Sprinkle with green onions, black pepper and/or cilantro.

Enjoy !
