One-Pan Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo 😋

°3 tsp unsalted butter
°16 ounces large prawns, peeled, deveined and tailed
°2 minced garlic cloves
°2 cups of chicken broth
°1 cup milk
°8 ounces dry fettuccine noodles
°1 cup grated parmesan
°1/2 cup heavy cream
°1/4 teaspoon pepper
°pinch of nutmeg
°parsley as garnish

In a skillet over medium heat, add two tablespoons of butter. Once hot, add the shrimp and cook 1 to 2 minutes on each side, or until opaque. Transfering to a plate or bowl and covering to keep warm.
Add the rest of the butter and the minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for 30 seconds, being careful not to burn (the garlic will cook quickly).
Adding chicken broth, milk also fettuccine noodle. Stir the noodles to separate them. Once the liquid comes to a boil, cover, reduce the heat to low, and simmer for about 11 minutes (or until al dente according to the directions on your pasta package). Stir once halfway through cooking to separate the noodles.
Remove the cover. Most of the liquid should be absorbed. Add heavy cream, parmesan, pepper and nutmeg. Stir until the cheese is melted. Add shrimp and stir to combine. Remove the pan from the heat and let stand for 5 minutes to allow the sauce to thicken.
Garnished with parsley before serve.

Enjoy !
